Located in the hamlet of San Rocco of Griante, a beautiful hillside village with historic importance and well-loved by the rich and famous since the turn of the 1900's. Cadenabbia, the most famous lakeside village is also a part of Griante and a short walk away. A favoured travel destination for the British since the 19th century, it is the site of one of the first Anglican churches built in Italy (1891).



Borgo San Rocco Olea offers a beautiful open space living, dining and kitchen area that opens out directly onto the garden through the floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen and dining area is accommodated by the veranda that brings in light and a modern clean touch that accents the old stone walls of the building it's self.



The kitchen, modern and fully equipped, offers you everything to prepare your Italian meals, induction cooker, oven, microwave just to list a few. The dining area opens out directly to the garden with table and chairs and sitting area.

The living room is in the antique building under what would have been a portico once upon a time, it's very comfortable and offers a rustic chic atmosphere.



Passing along the back corridor, that also offers a desk and some office space, is the large bathroom with walk in shower, the master bedroom and further down the hallway the second bedroom with twin beds (that can be made into a double on advance request) and a second bathroom.



The master bedroom is large with the original vaulted brick ceiling, a large double bed, large wardrobes and floor to ceiling windows that open out directly to the garden.

The twin bedroom, with bathroom with double sinks and large walk-in shower just next door, offers twin beds that can, however, be made up into a double on request, ample wardrobe space and a French door that opens out onto the garden directly as the master bedroom.





The Borgo San Rocco offers two apartments in the Barn Conversion and can accommodate four people on the ground floor flat and two in the upper flat. They can be booked together or separately as they have their own independent spaces. There is also a lovely garden area, relax with a great lake view, private corners, swimming pool and solarium to top off this amazing location!
